Our Conservative Association has its offices at 9 Bergamont Close, Godmanchester, Huntingdon PE29 2LY from where we administer the work of our party in the Huntingdon Constituency. An office in Huntingdon is being sought for future use.
This includes, servicing the needs of our party members in Huntingdon and working to secure the election of our Member of Parliament, Conservative County Councillors, District Councillors as well as Town Councillors in Huntingdon and St Ives, our two largest market towns.
In addition the Constituency Association organises, through a number of clubs such as Conservative Future, the Conservative Women's Organisation and the Premier Club, a varied programme of political and social events for all ages throughout the year with a variety of interesting guest speakers.
All Party members aged 25 and under are automatically members of the Young Conservatives. They are organised into groups geographically as part of their local associations. We share the same policies and values of the national Party.
Conservative Woman's Organisation
The CWO has been supporting women into public life since 1919. As the oldest affiliated female political organisation in the world our aims are:
- To encourage women to join the Conservative Party and progress within the voluntary party;
- To stand for elected office as Councillors, Police Crime Commissioners, Mayors, Parliamentary Candidates and all elected roles in the Conservative Party, supporting women with their campaigns;
- To listen to and develop policies that are in the interests of women
