The next Police & Crime Commissioner elections are due in May 2020, it is now time to re-adopt those incumbent Commissioners who wish to re-stand.
Jason Ablewhite has formally indicated that he wishes to re-stand and therefore must attend a general meeting of Party members within the Police Area.
Jason will address the meeting for up to 5 minutes and then take questions from members for up to 20 minutes. A secret ballot will then take place at the meeting without discussion. If he achieves a simple majority, he will be deemed as being re-adopted and will be our candidate for the Police and Crime Commissioner elections in Cambridgeshire.

The meeting will commence at 7.30pm prompt with registration from 7.00am. Please note that arrival after Jason’s interview has started will mean you will not be able vote at the meeting.
If you are travelling by car there is a large car park at the Burgess Hall, if you are using public transport it is a 15-minute walk along Westwood Road from Ramsay Road St Ives, which is served by Cambridge Guided Busway services.
